The very talented and popular house band, 'House Party' keeps the crowd dancing all night long at this legendary club located in the Holiday Inn just off the 436, I-4 exit in Altamonte Springs.
Come let cupid leave his mark at the first official Valentine's Day party in Orlando! This event will be held at the WhyNot Lounge in Altamonte Springs. Randy, the bar manager, has offered us the add-on room at no charge for this event for dining at 8:00pm, then will open up the room to the rest of the lounge when the music begins. If youve never heard the band that will be performing, you will be pleasantly surprised!! Great music to listen to, dance and to have a good time meeting your fellow MDrs. What a better way to meet others, begin new friendships with perhaps the opportunity of it developing into something more....without that one on one pressure of a real date! Share smiles, talk, conversate, rub elbows with others, noses, or ...who knows what!!! Remember, without a lil love, giving and receiving, we'd all be in a sad state. So come on out, meet friends and perhaps meet the person of your dreams...what have you got to lose!?!?!?!
Accommodations: It looks like the holiday inn did not come through with a good price on their rooms. We pretty much booked the entire hotel in Deland. I would not mind staying over again, it really makes for the ultimate party experience 
Quality Inn: Wymore Road across the street from the WhyNot. $79 single (king size bed) or $89 Double (2 double beds). 407-862-2800 and mention that you are part of the Plentyoffish party. Check-in is 3:00pm, checkout 11:am.
WhyNot: Wymore Road at the Holiday Inn 407-862-4455. $99 single, $109 double. Also when you call here, make sure you tell them youre with the Plentyoffish party.
Hope that helps..otherwise, you can go to the webpage for the Days Inn in Altamonte Springs. I saw singles for under $50, and doubles around $55.

Well that is because Altamonte is a richy place, I should know I was raised there, you do not know the comments I get when I tell people I grew up there, they are always saying oh your a rich b***h now aren't ya, and a snob, but HELLO I am far from that!!!!

when trying to book a room...ask for things like weekend specials, or corporate rates(some base is on a specific company though)...also...if there's a planned event - sometimes it's helpful to call the hotel in advance and get a "block of rooms"...then you call in and state you're with the "block of a certain party" and get a discount...also check for AAA and sometimes the rest areas have traveler's coupons in the books there that are a GREAT discount...speaking from experience working at a hotel frint desk
