That's a great picture of the bandshell, Beachdood.  Did you take that from the parking garage? It's a great view!
Anyway, if anyone wants to see where our meeting place is, you can see the pic, by clicking here or by clicking on the 'photos' tab in Beachdood's profile.. or you can e-mail me and I'll send you a copy of the pic. Again, we will be meeting on the beach behind that pink bandshell that you see at the end of the street.
Oh yeah, and don't forget your bathing suits! 
...and, of course, sun screen..

hey fucia....I just checked the festival website ,and the main stage is going to be at New York St.,which is a few blocks South of the bandshell...I don't know if that changes your plans ,but I thought I'd let you know ?...

Thanks Rob for the heads up on that. I tried to visit that website but for some reason it won't load on my computer. 
Rob do you know where is the other stage going to be located. Hopefully, it will be near enough to our currently established meeting point. Otherwise, we may have to consider moving it closer to the main stage or something. I wish I could go to the website and get that info myself. I'm going to try to view it from another computer.

The main stage will be at New York Street ,about 6 short blocks South of the Bandshell....Not too far to walk...They usually have entertainment at the Bandshell also ,but the better bands are on the big stage....We can do both ?...Still a good place to meet I think....

Well then, I think it's a good meeting point too. You're right, it's a pretty short walk. By the way, I finally got a chance to see the website at the library. The gallery photos that I looked at make me really anxious for this day to come.
Oh yeah, welcome Minky and WhiteAngel.  You're going to really enjoy this one!!!

Not to sure about airports near Hollywood, FL for you to go to since you are located in Lima, Peru Charo1234, BUT IF you can get a round trip plane trip lined up then I'm sure the gang would love for you to come.

Lima, PERU!!!  And I thought I was going the length flying in from Houston...  Oh well... doesn't matter where you're coming from, we'd love to see ya anyway Charo.

The get-together will be on the beach behind where the bandshell is. That is located at the end of Johnson Street. See beechdood's profile for a pic of the location, and see the first post of this thread for directions on how to get there. I talked to the parking garage attendant today at Johnson Street and A1A ,and he said the weekend is only $ 5:00 all day ,but its been known to jump to $ 10:00 all day....so be prepared.......... .....

I have to play out west on fri. but I'll be around during the day on sat, then sat nite I'll be nearby at Ohara's Jazz cafe and bistro on hollywood blvd from 10-2 am with the Derek Mack Band. Hope to meet some fellow Md'ers! G
