Well, to all those South Florida single guys who could've come to this event all I have to say is: boy, did you make a big mistake!
There were about 60 people that showed up and the ratio was about 7 women to every 1 man. Most women were in their 20s & 30s, some 40s and even a few in their later years (60s, 70s, 80s). There were gorgeous women with tight, little bodies, pretty women with nice attractive average figures, and a handful of BBW. Not that many overweight women, actually.
Apparently, many of the men who go to Unity are gay. Go figure. I had no idea. So, it's filled with attractive, single women.
So, you guys, too bad. You might've met a few eager single women!

Oh well, Our loss! 
But meeting and getting/starting a relationship with those "few eagar single women" is two different things!
No big deal or loss to me since it wasnt worth the effort to go anyways.

Upon further thought and review, IF many of the men who go to Unity are gay and most of the men who went to this gathering was gay. One must wonder how many of the woman (who also go to Unity) are gay and those who also went to this singles gathering were gay as well?

I was wondering that very same thing!!

When we entered, we had to use nametags and underneath we were instructed to write in LARGE LETTERS either S for single, G for gay or O for open.
The few gay people found each other quickly and (quite honestly) left pretty quickly as well. I guess they know how to move things along and get to the good parts...
LOL
So, you are mistaken. Most of the people at the event were not gay.

It sounds like we was all suppose to sign up for this and because no one did, you have a attitude about us "South Florida single Guys" not going.
And I for one am glad I stayed home instead of wasting 9 or so hours on this.

Mmmm, I think I figured it out. South Floridians don't seem to like doing silly things like posting in some Internet forum  (probably one reason I'm now a Houstonian  ). South Floridians like to go out and Party! Party! Party! And we all know their are tons of places to party all over South Florida! So, you should be in SoBe or Las Olas partying the night away!!! 
Soooo....
Go out and have yourself gobs of fun!!!

Yeah, Fuschia, I go to SoBe, too! I just thought I'd try that Aventura thing because it was related to Unity on the Bay. I have no problems meeting people. It's a really nice active lifestyle down here.
I really love all the great cultural activities: film societies, concerts. A lot of them free or low-cost. Can't beat it.
That's why you don't see me on MD much these days. Too busy getting out there, doing things.

Yeah you're right about that. I was back down in Hollywood on September 16th for Latinfest. And you got to swim while you watched the Latin performers, too! 'Twas a lot of fun!!!
