"Singing Singles Friday" This week.. sorry for the confusion
6 pm - Midnight
I was originally told this event would be held every Sunday

This Friday there will be a live band till 11:00 pm.. they play classic rock and a little bit of country as well* Karaoke Kicks off at 11:00 pm till closing
Join us at 6 pm to Mix & Mingle,
enjoy a fabulous All-U-Can-Eat Dinner,
take advantage of the Happy Hour Specials,
or simply get a jump on your song selections!
I went last Sunday and had a wonderful time. There are singles there from other single groups as well. I was surprised by the large turn out since It was A Sunday night. You can always come for a few hours and get home early

Sounds like a lot of fun Dove. I would like to go this Sunday, but maybe another Sunday. I'm all tapped out as far as go go juice for the car and that until the begining of the month.

You can always come for a few hours and get home early hmmm.... have to check on motel rooms for that area but it does sound like fun! Now IF we can get Witchie and Jfreak to go along since I hate going to these things alone.

It looks like this event has been changed to Friday this week. So check back often to see what the following weeks date will be. If I go Friday it would have to be after work.
I met the bands leader on Sunday he is a really nice guy and single.
Outlaw there are lots of hotels in the area , they are right near downtown Disney.

There is one that I will recommend. It's called Sun Motel. On 192 near Vineland. It's like 34 (single after taxes and that) a night. Nice clean rooms, Full refrigerater and microwave. It was quiet outside. Staff was pretty nice as well.
One I wouldn't recommend is one called Carefree Inn. (former name is Traveler's Inn). On the corner 192 and Vineland. I stayed there because of being a weekend and towards the evening there wasn't any place within reason of staying. I didn't sleep too well and I ended up not taking a shower there either. Room rates listed outside were 29.99. Ended up paying 40. All the downstairs rooms were being renovated. They have an elevator though. While in the elevator, noticed the license had an expiration date back in 2006. (scarry, cause it ran like that too). There were all kinds of guys sitting around in the hall ways. The ice machine didn't work. You had to drive to the hotel next door for ice. The bed sheets and comforter didn't fit the bed. Twin size top sheets and that for a queen size bed. I had to remake the bed halfway thru the night because the sheets all fell off. I had to go ask for light bulbs and the manager asked if I wasn't just sure that the light wasn't plugged in. One light in the room was placed where there was no socket. The shower curtain was wrinkled and torn. The phone didn''t work right either. The manager said to come by in the morning for the free continental breakfast, but the area was still under construction. The highlight was seeing the two ducks swimming in the fenced in pool.
Still haven't figured out how this guy got his motorcycle up on the second floor. The elevator wasn't that big.
I went to these two a couple of weeks ago.

Works for me, Now IF we can only get Dove, Jfreak and Witchie to commit to a day/date...
On further review, THIS friday is too short a notice for me but I'm willing to go some other night with at least 60~90 warning!

Is this place a one story building or 2 or more story? the reason I am asking is I dont want a repeat of having Jfreak be in charge of driving the elevator again!

hmmm...well, lets see what mapquest shows for motels in the area within driving distance of the interstate and the carving station then. Thou I will need at least 30 to 90 days warning before making any plans to go

Well as it is for me, I am not going to be going to any parties anytime soon. I am saving up my money to go meet my soulmate... So England here I come, well as soon as I save up the money anyway.. But anyone who knows me, knows I have to go meet Peas!!!!

Is this held every Friday??
I live over in Dunedin on the west coast soth of tarpon springs noth of clearwater. I was widowed 3 yrs ago and now am just stepping out. Does anyone know singles groups over this way??
