Time is getting close... July 20, 21, & 22 some of the most fun MD peeps will be gathering at the Pokagon State Park outside of Angola!
Don't have camping gear? NO WORRIES, we will have plenty...(or know where to aquire it) 
We have 3 sites reserved. One is still waiting to be filled at this time. So pack your bag and come join us. I guarantee you won't regret it! 
There is a ton of things to do there, not just sitting around and talking, getting to know each other. Although there will be plenty of time for that too!

Don't ANY of you that peeked in here think you are fun?
Like to be with fun people?
Want to meet and make some new friends?
You don't have to camp yanno. You can come for just the day or evening. Come ON INDIANA, lets show the ones coming from other states how friendly IN people are!
If you are afraid of how much it is going to cost, don't be. Its only $10.00 a night to camp and about $5.00 a day to eat. Just bring your own drinks. Not a much cheaper way to have fun for the week end.

sounds like alot of fun..we just cant make it. We have been to Lake James.. we got a cabin there for the weekend for our honeymoon...alot of fun

Okay everyone...here is All the info I have on our new location for the camping trip!
I'm somewhat sad to not be able to go tubing....but there is ALOT of other things to do here and the best of all is getting to get to know all of you and just hanging out for 2 days!!!!! I hope you'll feel the same way!!! and for the record I was asked to do this...it wasn't my idea to move this to where I live.....just sayin... ...but if it helps out folks with gas.........I'm just excited to get to go!

I am reserving 3 "electric" campsites tommorow. Anyone who hasn't confirmed coming will need to call and reserve a campsite yourself or talk to Luv.
We can have 6 people sleeping per site. Also, per site you may have one of the following: 2 small tents, or 1 large RV, or 1 reg or small RV and 1 small tent.
We will be able to reserve 2 sites side by side and the third one will be one or 2 away. Only one car may be parked per site...the rest will have to stay in the parking lot. This is a really big place! Oh and 1 picnic table per site.
You may check in at the site on Friday as early as 2:00 and as late as 11:00.
Check out time on Sunday is 5:00.
The cost per night is $25.00....we have the 3 campsites already covered.
There is a gate fee per carload....out of state will be $7.00 and in state...$5.00.
Ok...here is everything they have to do!
"2" Beaches to swim....free
Boat rentals:
Paddleboat (8.00 hr)
Rowboats and canoes (5.00 hr or 20.00 all day)
Pontoons...? don't know yet
Baracudas....? single or double...maybe that is a kayak?
Sand Volleyball court.....Yeah! (does anyone have a volleyball?)
playground equipment
Nature Center (activities on weekends)
Nature trails for hiking
Bike rentals and bike trails
Horseback riding...(I am lovin this!! Anyone else up to ride with me?)
They reccomend reservations so let me know on this if it is alot of us.
No credit cards for this activity.
8-6 daily
$20... for a 2 mile ride
$3.00....pony ride
$3.00....hay ride

I wish the dates were different.....I manage a horse show in 2.5 weeks and my phones and email are going bananas. I LOVE to camp, etc. Oh well, keep us posted and I'll just have to hope for a "next time." Have a blast everyone!

just joined here, it may be a drive from ohio .but it sounds like a lot-o-fun.
will try to get out there., and "yes" i have a volleyball.
does anyone know how to make "newspaper hot air baloons". fun stuff around a fire.
