FYI everybody, I'm not sure what happened, but Sugar Valley will not have room for us in Sept. Rosebowl and I have talked to several people about what to do. It looks like its going to take place the same weekend but at Waveland Lake Park. It is located about 9 miles east of Sugar Valley on HWY 47 in Waveland, Indiana,

Hey, Brenda and I won't be coming to this campout for sure. Hope everybody has a great time!  We have totally put a hole in our wallets.  We decided we might camp locally one last time for the year.

Hey everyone, its Friday Sept 26, 2008, and there are four of us camping at Waveland with two on the way (hopefully). Please come and join us, we'll find a place for you to sleep. Once you get to Lake Waveland (lakewavelandpark.com), pay the gate fee (but not camping), drive back to the T, turn right. We are on the right corner just before the beach parking lot. There is a black sedan and a red Tahoe. The screen tent is blue and green, the tent in the back is tan. Don't worry if you did not send food $, we'll settle up once you get there.
COME ON DOWN (or up, or over, or whatever the case might be, just be sure and get here!!!).

It was so great to meet you all!!!!
I had a blast, wish I could have stayed longer, or arrived sooner, lol!
Brass, Rosebowl, Cartay, hope your trip home is a safe one! My tummy still hurts from laughing!

I made it home safe Laurie and the guys should be home soon. It was great to meet you......we all had a blast getting to know you.

Hi Subtle.........Kfarmer couldn't make it. Brass and RB dropped me off at home and then headed straight home themselves since we got a late start back and they had such a long drive. I wish we could have met up with you and Brenda.

Not sure if you know this Luv. . but Cartay has a warped mind. Very warped! The hillbilly impersonation killed me. Still chuckling! She is a bad influence Luv. . Glad you made it home girl:-) Was such a pleasure meeting all of you! Hope to make the next one! Back running the roads!

To Brass, Cartay, Laurie I want to thank you all for coming to the campout. I really do enjoy spending time with you all. I really want to thank Tamak for all the hard work she put in and also spending time with us. I bow down to you. Luvvy I am sorry you could not make. We sure did miss you. I promise I will see you in May. Subtle and Brenda, I am so sorry we did not get to meet up. It started really early on Thursday so when me and Brass picked cartay up it was already 2am and we all got a late start on the way back. Well I made it home around 11:30 and brass had another hour to drive home. I was so tired most of the way back that I made Brass drive from Des Moines, Iowa to home. You know it was raining when me and brass left on Thursday here in Minnesota. There was not a cloud in the sky in Indiana for the 3 days we were there and right when we yet the Minnesota line on the way back it was pouring down rain. I wish I would have stayed in Indiana. Well I do hope to see you all soon and thanks again.

I have opened an account so if anyone wants to start sending a few $ you can. I know thats the only way Duvvy and I are going to make it, is start saving now. We now have $110.00 in it. The way I have it figured so far, we will need about 10 times that. Of course we are coming sooner, and staying a lot longer then the rest of you.

Luvvy....I take my hillbilly with me where ever I go.........she will be there.
Laurie........You may need some Depends for May.......you will be around me a lot longer then.

Hey All
I came home from my Washington vacation to a dead modem , so am having to rely on the generosity of neighbors to chek my mail and MD. Hopefully, will be up and running again this weekend and I'll be one here more often.
I had such a good time this past weekend with everyone!!! Brasswolf, thanks so much for sharing your camping expertiese and the recipe for the apple-bread-breakfast-in-a-skillet thingy, YUM  . Rosebowl, thanks so very much for being the chauffer for others, maybe next time we'll even get you into the water!  Cartay, you make me happy just being around you, I am soooo very glad you got to come camping, thanks for all the help around camp, I hope Tiny didn't miss you too much, next time he HAS TO COME TOO! So sorry we didn't get to go tubing, Jake and I went kayaking when you all left, had a ball . Laurie, you are a HOOT girl, you have to come in May for the entertainment value alone.... When is our horse date????? HINT HINT
Hey Luvmycats, will you please post some pics of the campout for me on this forum?? I'll send them to your private e-mail when my puter rises from the dead.
To all those who couldn't be there.....we missed you, rest assured you were at least talked about  ...lol Looking forward to the next MD camping trip!
