THIS PAGE WILL BE UPDATED OFTEN, SO CHECK BACK FOR SAID UPDATES. 
As decided by 2008's participants, 2009 will be longer. Not only will this give us a longer time to spend together, but an opportunity for more people to be able to come! 
It is going to be held at the same place as last year. Up The Creek
This has been discussed much.
One, it is a central location in the U.S.A.
Two, its cheaper to fly into Indiana, than some other states.
Three, it is big enough to hold LOTS of people, and we will have the whole place to ourselves.
Four, we have lots of wonderful people there willing to hold onto camping gear that we need year after year. 
And five, I will be homesick by then!  (I am already missing the woods)
As has been posted all over the place, Duvvy and I will be getting married at this MD Gathering.  We would like to invite everyone to join in our celebration. (no gifts are expected) We are suggesting as a part of the celebration, that you wear your island attire, as it is a Hawiian themed wedding. (you can find lots of choices at goodwill) Now, some people think it is STUPID to have a Hawaiian wedding in the middle of Indiana, to those we say...  Its OUR wedding, and we love to make people laugh (at and with us)  So, we hope to see many of you there!
We are expecting many more people to come to this camp out, so I have decided to do things a little different. I have opened a special savings account. This is so you can start sending me money. I am doing this for a couple reasons. It will help me to know who is serious about coming, and help those of us that have a hard time coming up with the money all at once. (also help me keep track of everyone easier)  You can send me $5.00 - $10.00 or whatever you can spare, whenever you can spare it. HOWEVER, the first to start sending money will be the first to get a space in a cabin. They are GOING FAST! 4 cabins have already been taken!  I will do my best to get you the cabin you want, along with the roommates you want. Please understand I may not be able to please everyone. 
How much you ask... I am not sure yet, but it will be a little more then last year. I wasn't aware of all the taxes.  Also, I don't know if the price of the cabins will be the same next year. I will let you know as soon as I can. Of course the more roommates you have, the cheaper the cost.

There are many things one can do right there at the camp. You can shop in the gift shop, (they have the tastiest ice cream) you can play pool, and ping pong. Rock in the rocking chairs, play checkers. Right now I am kinda at a loss, but sure folks will jump in with other things. Turkey Run State Park is just a mile down the road with TONS of things to do and see. You can also rent a canoe, kayak, or tube and float down Sugar Creek.
You just may find out that you just want to hang out at camp and TALK, TALK, TALK. I am hoping though, that someone will step up to the plate and organize some fun games and activities for around camp this year. Duvvy and I are planning some for the wedding day! 
Awe, getcher head outta the gutter. They will be PG games. I am also hoping some of the kids from my family will be there.

Luvvy I see you've already been shopping at Oriental Trading! I had circled the limbo stick as something I was going to get! Guess I'll look for something else!

Glad you're happy there Katy! Can't wait to see you, eh?
Sign, I haven't bought them yet. Just intend to, as I can have everything shipped to EOG, who is holding all that I had bought before I left IN. I won't be able to bring much, because we will have to bring the Legend Board from this year and a new one for this trip. I haven't weighed it yet, but I'm thinking they may take up the weight of 2 suitcases. (50 lb. limit) Remember how Duvvy brought it up last year? Dumb me, I forgot to give it to EOG. She will get them this time, or somebody will that has room to store them up there. That just means I can bring home more ROCKS!!! (for the cement pond)

Many people at the last camp out suggested a Scavenger Hunt and/or a Talent Show and as Entertainment co-ordinator I would be happy to put them together if there is enough interested. Let me know and we can work them into the weekend. Also.......I will soon be taking requests for music so we have a good mix that all will enjoy hearing.
May won't come soon enough for me......the wedding, camping and seeing everyone again.........I can't wait.

I'd like to do some exploring of the nearby area. I didn't get to see much last time.
Scavenger hunt sounds fun. I really have no talents so talent show wouldn't be for me.
If anyone has ideas for awards, let me know. I need to start working on them soon.

Thanks Cartay for taking the ball! I think a Scavenger Hunt would be awesome! (never done that before) Do we get partners?

Sign, no worries, Duvvy, Katt, Haban & I are renting a van. We will take you where you are wanting to go. I am also taking Duvvy hiking at Turkey Run, so you can go with us, when we go there, if'n ya want to. I promise we won't be too luvvy/duvvy.

Ok, I have changed my mind... (I'm allowed to do that, I am a WOMAN!)
I am thinking its fair to go ahead and hold onto the requests from last years group. SOOO... I am posting them. Bitchy Luvvy coming out now.
I had it all typed out, and changed my mind AGAIN (ahem... I am still a woman) I will leave it like this until I see there is a problem, then will take care of it if someone starts trouble again. I just hope it doesn't happen.

Luvvy, I'm planning on renting a car to drive up there so I'll have transportation too. But would love to go hiking with you and Duvvy--as long as it's an easy hike! And iffen y'all get too luvvy duvvy, I'll just go on ahead and not look!
Katt if you find another tall dark handsome man, can I have him???
