I left the one (electric cord) that was covered with mud. I didn't have time to clean it and pack it. Tamak can keep it. I never did find my tarp. Don't know where that ended up at. Not worried about it.
Only "camping" I will do from now on is in a motel or resort. Sorry but the rain and mud dampened my camping spirit this year! (and yes, that was an intended pun!)

The rain and the mud didn't bother me so much; I thought the tornado weather was exciting! But it did interfere with my being able to visit with everyone as much as I would have liked. I got home and realized how little I conversed with some people. That made me sad. 
I think we should all pitch in and rent a big ole' house somewhere by a river or lake. That way, we are all in one place. We had a great time in Tahoe one year renting a very large "cabin" where we all had bedrooms that we shared and woke up to the same kitchen for coffee.

Pali, I love that idea!!! Something to consider for next time. I doubt that I will attend any more camping trips unless they are somewhere "indoors". I got to know Wiccked and Soupi a little bit more, but didn't get to talk to others near as much as I wanted.

No more campin out in the woods for me. This body just can't take the abuse anymore. There are places here where you can rent houseboats for a day,week end, etc. I think that might be fun. If we didn't all fit on one, we could get a several. But I just won't do the campfire, outdoors thing anymore.
And thanks to the weather, I got to know my roommates well but no one else! LOL

Opps Pali, my mistake, I think the flower girl is related to Luvy, not Tamack. When were talking, we changed topics so often I answered about 3 sentences after your question.
Oh, and as for my photos, I had so many that were basically the same as everyone else's, andno where as good as Rosie's, that I edited a lot of mine out. I also sent them all ahem, all, Pali, to Pali for her to post. Direct all deletion requests to her... since I'd post just about anything without discretion.

The weather did put somewhat of a damper on things and we were all very busy with wedding preparations so it was very different this year. But don't get discouraged as next years will be a great time for everyone to get to know each other AND have time to play! Might have it a little later such as June, to try and get by the May showers and a little warmer weather. I think you will be pleasantly surprised as to some of the activities and easy scheduled meals. Luvvy has done a wonderful job at organizing these camping trips over the last 3 years, but a new posse is in Dodge....
I for one missed sitting around talking with everyone, but I also enjoyed the wedding festivities as well....sure glad those 2 luvbirds are hooked up now!  
whooo hooooo......and ye hawwww or is that He hawwww......Gosh I heard that darned donkey this year!!! I can't believe he is still alive.....

Isn't there a lake or a river in Vegas?
The fountains at the Bellagio are in a kind of a lake....
And the Venice has the canals which are kind of like a river...

Lisa- it's not too bad, except for a year like this where we sit for days and then go all out for a few without a break. Then you get tired and can get hurt. But that is all part of the game, just not the "fun" part.
