I finally limped home today about 4 p.m. I spent 13 hours in the car yesterday and about 8 today. That has got to be one of the longest darn drives ever! Was so glad to finally get home. But I wish I was nearer so I could see everyone more often. This poor ol lady has probably had her last camp out, unless the next one is in a motel! LOL
Rosie you got either one or two awards. I can't remember and they're still packed somewhere. But email me your street address and I'll mail them to you when I can. This week end I'll post a list of awards and winners but am just too tired tonight to even want to think of it.
Oh yeah, there will be another special award for EOG for wedding party favors. They were awesome!
I'm on my 4th or 5th load of wet muddy laundry now! And of course watching Dancing with the Stars.
Lucky--I'm going to try to call you tomorrow (Wed.) night around 7 or 8 your time. If I don't I'll call by this weekend. Have some tidbits of news for you!

You did Rosie....but I promised Sign I would let her post who got what awards......it was her baby! I do hope she made it home okay as well as zoeysmom.
Now I need to hear from Pali and Soli...... 
I got lost going home and missed a turn....and when I stopped to ask for directions I asked what town I was in.........they said the west side of Indy......the city I live in!  I told the guy I was disoriented......been in the woods for 3 days with Bearcoons and the such....

LOL Spring! And I made it all the way back to Texas with no wrong turns!
Z made it home too.
I fell in the cabin about 4:30 am yesterday as I was packing up the last of my stuff. I tripped over one of those dang bed legs that stick out and landed on my bad knee, pretty much flat on the floor. My knee is still swollen. I laid there and cried for a few minutes, then decided I'd have to get myself up as I couldn't wait until people got up around 8 or 9 am! LOL So pulled myself up by the bed frame, finished loading the car, waited until the tears stopped so I could see and then left. I did treat myself to a king sized bed and whirlpool on the way home. I'm sure it helped the aches and pains some.
About to take my sleeping meds, who is it that enjoys my posts then? And off to bed so I can get up and make it to school tomorrow.
I had such a good time except for the rain, mud and fall! This gal is just too old and achey for another camping trip unless it's in a motel!

Sign, glad you made it home in one piece, but sounds like you are bruised. I am sorry that happened.
I am with you...we need a hotel next time. Hey, that isn't such a bad idea. Now the wheels are spinnin' in my mind.
I miss all of you so much already. One time a year to see everyone is just not enough!
I hope Soli and Pali are ok and I hope they post soon so we know they made it home.

Hey Rosie! I'm gladd Nibby is eating now that she is home. My cats wouldn't come out when I got home but my outdoor ones met me at the door! They were hungry. They're used to eating twice a day and were only fed once a day while I was gone!
Oh yeah, one of the bearcoon babies (who are no longer little!) came by tonight for a meal too. Remeinded me of the camp out and Spring! LOL
My indoor cats (now that they've come out) don't want to let me out of their sight. When I go into the bedroom and close the door, Luna sits outside my door and cries until I come out again. I hope when I go to bed shortly, she goes to sleep! LOL

I am glad everyone made it home safe and sound, I am positive that Pali & Soli made it home.......unless they decided to stay in the hotel in that POSITIVELY Wonderful room that they had..........heck I wanted to move in there and so did my son.............I could be very happy there............ 
I miss all my camping buddies and wish we could do it more often.........Yes I know I said it I actually like camping now......even all the rain, mud and the cold.........I am going ot take my boys camping too......as soon as I can get some camping gear..........
The wedding was beautiful and the shower was hilarious..........I have been inspired to not be scared of the M_WORD anymore..........  I enjoyed sittin garound the campfire the most laughing, joking, singing and just being with all of you.
Pali caught the bouquet when I wasnt looking but she deserves it for sure......  I mis my Pali and enjoyed meeting Soli, you cant imagine how much I am missing these two.....  Well but life goes on and I cant wait to see who signs on for next year...........Oh and I am definitely one of the ones Planning it for next year.........Catay and Rosebowl, Spring also...........any other Volunteers......
Well I must be going now have to get ready for work............see you all here later............

Sign, I am so glad to hear you made it home safe. I worry too much I guess. Glad Z made it home too. I am sure that we will hear from Pal and Soli sometime, maybe they went on another adventure?
Spring my wonderful friend, I for one thought the ceremony you did was marvelous!!!! Listening to you giving the words and vows to the couple brought tears to my eyes.
Knitingale,,thank you so much for the coffee in the morning and I will never think of Mars in the same way again. 
Oh and Lucky?? What can I say about you other than after all these years, I finally was "lucky" enough to meet you.
Of course, I love each and everyone of you, and I am still getting my bearings straight from the trip. I will blog when I can get my mind back, has anyone seen it?? There's just something about the state of Indiana,,,,

It's okay....I wasn't really out of the way....just did not know where I was and it was a
rather embarrassing moment when I said "what little city is this?" and found out it was the outskirts of west Indy....
Gosh I sure miss everyone......it gets harder each year to leave friends.....

Just came in to say I made it thru the day at school today and then took the rental car back. I was sad to say goodbye to it. Makes my little old Chevy cavalier look rather sad! LOL
I'm in a lot of pain today and the knee is starting to turn black and blue. Just took my ambien and am heading for bed as soon as the news is over.
Lucky I got home too late to call so it will be sometime over the week end!
I hope we hear from Pali and Soli soon. Glad everyone else made it home ok.

Sorry to be so late checking in you guys. Pali and I got back to her place around 3 pm yesterday. After doing some shifting of stuff from one box to my bag and figuring out which red hat was hers ( hint...the rain battered one) I headed for home around 4 pm. I got back to Reno around 8 pm after a couple of stops. I got my bag out of the car and into the front door of the house, where it is still residing. I crashed and got up this morning to pay bills, read the mail, and water the yard and plants since we don't have natural sprinklers like Indiana does. Rounding off the evening I made a call to Pali to see how Idol ended. She's my source on what is hot in music these days.
I'm ready to drop again, but survived amazingly well for camping out, since I too am an advocate of camping in condos. This past week has been wonderful...even with the hike to the bathrooms. I didn't get enough time with everyone, I need MORE! I met such fantastic people and had such an memorable time. That thunderstorm was powerful and primordial. I will never forget my springtime shower.
OK, I'm heading to bed, but I'll get back to this soon. HUGS all around.

that springtime shower left a ton of wet stinkey mud in my basement, so now I'm dealing with the cleanup and insurance. But I'm glad I wasn't here at the time, so didn't hve to watch it happen.
