Hi everybody - we're still planning this but due to the high number of people we know would really show up but can't due to the timing, we're putting this on hold, probably till the fall...sorry for any confusion...

I'm sure planning on it - I just checked on the resort and the cost to book right now would be prohibitive, I remember that when I booked last time I had no problem getting rooms for that same period, but it was at a 75% discount, which is definitely doable (even 50% would be fine). Dates would be February, from Friday the 13th through the night of the 15th, so Valentine's Day would be included for those who might prefer dancing on Fremont Street with a bunch of forum fanatics to spending Valentine's day alone (or bring someone along - as some of us certainly hope to!).
Soooooooooo....at present I'm planning on booking up to 6 2-bedroom condos - each bedroom has a queen sized bed and its own bath, plus a queen-sized sleeper bed in the living room. Each condo has its own washer and dryer, kitchen and dining area. This is the same resort we went to last time, so we already know it has a game room, heated pool and hot tub, and it's only a few minutes to the Strip.

Hey Soli -  I just noticed you posted and was hoping to see you on the 'attending' list!! As far as I'm concerned, we're solid for 2/13 thru 2/15, departing on Monday the 16th...Keeno sent me an email accepting too!! I just can't book until January, but that was the same thing two years ago and I had no problem getting rooms...
Luv - I'm sorry you can't make it, sooner or later we'll get together again!

Some friends and I already have plans to visit in March. Will prob stay at the 4 Queens or one of the other places off Fremont Street since that's where the free entertainment and $ beers are..
