I sense a challenge ... Ok, here goes .... There this guy from Tulsa who wasn't feeling well so he called his boss to call in sick. The boss said that he has had days like that when he woke up not feeling well, but instead of calling in sick, he made mad passionate love to his wife and felt great afterwards and was able to put in a full days work. The guy told his boss he would try that. Later that morning he showed up to work and told his boss he felt great, and then said: "oh and by the way, you have a lovely home."
Don't mess with Texas - their idea of Gun Control is - they hit what they aim at.

Canyon! You got that right. You know, some of those other Staters just do NOT understand the Texas style of talk or humor. When you tell someone you are gonna kick their azz...,you tell em you gonna KILL em, they think you mean it! You are usually making a joke! DUH!  
I had this one man convinced I was going to kill him. Wonder if he wet his pants? All I wanted to do was make him quit screaming while I was headed for the traffic on the freeway. Good grief. I now know why so many people hate Texans. They can't tell when we are kidding. Whatever...

Spirit, I know this sounds bad, but (ahmmm) I am not originally from Texas - I did live there for 16 yrs before moving to Vegas and my older son is still in Texas. Actually, I am from, *looks arounds* born and raised in, (whispers) Iowa. But Texas maybe where I end up after retirement.
And, Jen, hopefully they have heated pools - cos the highs are nornally in the lower 70's that time of year. The spa should be heated for sure. I have a pool, but don't use much after Sept and heats it only for Christmas & New Year's Eve. Just as long as the slot machines and the dealers are hot - that's what is important.

When I lived in Vegas, the only time I didn't wear shorts was in January. I think I wore a light jacket to work twice.

I always over pack for this sort of thing. I mean, do you pack jeans and sweaters/sweatshirts and/or shortsleeve shirts and shorts. And what about nice evening clothes or swim wear. And the shoes - have to have tennis shoes for walking around, but also need nice shoes in case of an evening dinner and dancing. Underwear and socks are a given, but you women have to choose the "right" assessories, And what do you wear to sleep in - specially if others may see the sleepwear.... And can't forget the toiletries ... some can be taken on the plane and some can't. What if you like wearing a hat. Decisions Decisions
Thank God I live here.. Whew!
