We have finally set the dates for the second annual Edenton MD bash. July 3-6, 2008 at Maggie and Skinman's. Edenton NC is in the northeastern part of the state on highway 17, close to the Outer Banks and the state line. Accomodations provided at the house...we have some extra beds, couches and floor space for the more adventurous. There is also ample room for camping on the property if you choose. For those of you who wish more privacy there are motels in town. The closest airport for those wishing to fly in is Norfolk Va and we can arrange to pick you up should you want. Last year was incredible and this year is going to be even better so book your holidays now.....   . Please feel free to contact me or WSOR via e-mail on here if you want more information. The tzus are looking forward to meeting new friends who may have treats hidden in thier pockets and extra snuggles in their arms. There are a couple of pics on my profile from last year's bash.

that sounds like fun. who knows what the future brings. i would like for my fiance' to go but she stays so busy with her work and helping her mom. but i will definetly think about it. if she would go i would definitly go. my half sisters that i've only seen once maybe twice live there and we just reconnected during Christmas. i haven't seen them yet but my sister and i are going to in the near future. you probably know them. my half brother was L F. dont know if i should put his name on here. he died a few years ago. his sisters maiden names were BJ  Fand D F. I also have kin in little washington and chocowinity. i lived in tn for the last 19 years and moved to NC in oct. i was born in raleigh and grew up in portsmouth va. moved to greenville for 5 years and then went to TN. thanks for the invite

Sounds very interesting,
you can count me in,even though it could be quite a drive from asheville to the beach area,but would love the changes from the mountains to the beach would be a very welcome sight.
I have bee to 2 other M D get toghters and they turned out great...........

May be a slight chance of a possibility that I might happen to be wandering in the Edenton area right around that approximate time (how's that for being non-committal?!) 
After all, I feel it's my personal duty to be sure Jim's 'train of thought' doesn't get derailed too badly!

oct....heads up.....Nonie and Sophie have started their bikini diet (no worries here, they do this every year but have yet to loose enough to fit into one ) and are already planning what style of haircut they want to wow Uncle Jim with.. ...me thinks he is truly going to the dogs with these two.....you definitely need to come, if only to save him from the lick attack of the vicious tzus....

Leo here...Mom is leaving again.. She says she is only going for a couple weeks..but I know her... I'm getting my haircut before she goes. but not to short. The Hun likes to jump on me if I go near his food dish..even walking past it.. He looks much better now that he lives with us but he is a bit bi polar... I think I will not tell him about the get together..he is not an MD member like I am...and the girls were mine first!  I wonder what Nonie and Sophie have to say about this?

I'm not too worried about Nonie & Sophie. I believe my 5 cats have corralled Jim's affections purrrrfectly. And just in case, if I do make it there, I'll be armed with puppy uppers!
