Gosh, this get-together list of people is beginning to look like a 'group date' from an episode of The Bachelorette. Really? I was thinking Deliverance......

Wow Spirit....you and Tent get together and you'd have a whole zoo instead of half each

I think I have a little more than half,
I have: 4 dogs (one is the size of a horse!), 10 cats (I think, I fully claim 8), um....um....counting......13 goats + 2 new baby nannies (will be having a sale soon), 7 geese, 5 ducks (had 6 disappeared this past fall - clock, I am holding you and Bill responsible for that ), an owl, a few mice (the owl loves them), and not sure how many chickens - they won't stand still long enough for me to count 'em. I don't have as many as I use to....darned that opossum, skunk, coyote and hawk! Use to have rabbits, but they all aged out. And we won't go into the wildlife that have gotten semi-tame and think they live there. Darn armadillo ate all of my salad garden last spring.
Hey, Spirit, can my owl have one of those geckos for dinner? It would be a nice change from his mice.

Clock!
Um, one of my geckos has a severe disorder, Tent. But it won't die! All the rest of the geckos from that gecko family have died except the mother and she has suddenly developed the nerve disorder as well. I think it was over production, you know? Laid too many eggs. All creatures that over produce tend to start having problems with their offspring. Then they sometimes get sick as well. If it was in the wild, I am sure an owl already would have eaten it. Unfortunately, I doubt I could feed it to your owl even with it's disorder. It might be less painful for the poor thing tho.

LOL, I have 6 kids (all grown, yea!) but I didn't over produce. I took in other people's excess.

Darn the luck! We will be thinking about you as we are driving around in those little race cars. Now see, we get to actually drive them this weekend. You only get to watch.
I know..... there isn't that many of us. Take BIG suitcases, stuff us in them, and we will all go to the races with you. Now, wouldn't that be a fun MD Get-Together!

Mom, you're just trying to sneak off with atlas without the rest of us...
Wish you could make it, but they are only kids once. Hope you have a good time, anyway. Looks like it will be a nice day!

Hopefully we can make a get together in the summer that we can attend.

A camping trip for summer is what I was thinking of. But all my overnight camping has to be close to home, for now, so I can drive back to feed my critters once a day. Although I have other favorite campgrounds, Sequoyah Bay State Park on Ft. Gibson Lake works good for all in our area, plus, it seems to be a place groups use a lot. Has a little dock with, I think, breakfast in it. I don't know. When I am out camping, it is usually lunch before I get around to eating. I am sure everyone has their favorite places. Tenkiller is my absolute favorite.
Spirit, it depends on many factors, it is Oklahoma! It can be anywhere from upper 50's at night (in the summer) to 115 degrees by day, with the average being upper 60's at night to 70 or so and 90's by day. Great for swimming!
