There are blue grass festivals all over Oklahoma all year round. So lets look one up and plan a get together.  They do not allow drinking at most though and no other funny stuff either, darn it.

Sounds like a good idea! No drinking is fine with me for the most part, but eventually I get a little thirsty and would like some soda, tea or water. 
But no funny stuff either? Darn the luck.....Guess I'll have to behave.

The next Blue Grass Festival here in Muskogee is April 4th.
I will get more information on it if anyone is interested. It will be a "bring your own lawn chairs, picnic, etc." type of thing outdoors.I have been to a couple and they are a lot of fun.

ahhhhh, darn, hutch...... a girl can't have as much furn that way.... 
The next Blue Grass Festival here in Muskogee is THIS SATURDAY.  If anyone is interested I will check to see what the times are. I sure am hoping to go. But I will pass if it is in the middle of the afternoon and it is 105 degrees. Hopefully it will be in the evening.

In case anyone was planning on going to the Blue Grass on the Square festival, it has been moved from the Civic Center to the parking lot of our main mall. It is from 6pm to 9pm. I was going to go around 7 or so for just a little while when it was suppose to be next door to me, but......it's TOO HOT to go sit in a lawn chair in the middle of concrete! There were grassy areas at the Civic Center. It's 100 degrees or more right now and high humidity. Much higher than that on the concrete. The sun is still intense and everyone is going to fry....... I don't envy the musicians right now AT ALL!  [we need a sweat pouring emoticon]
