I have seen it snow on Halloween. I would love to come at least for one day, don't have anyone to house-sit for the whole weekend. Sounds like a great get-together, plus I am from the tri-cities area.....originally. Good luck and hope it all turns out to be a great weekend!!

Wow, I would love to attend your get together.
I will be traveling to MI and IN around that time visiting friends and family. I am still in the plannig stage as to either go the weekend of the 19 or to wait untill turkey day weekend.
Put me on the list of a forsure, almos,t positive maybee.

I cant promise anything ...but I will do my best!!!! My health..all of that ..not sure how the future will have in store! A good 4 to 5 hrs away..So If I cant make it..I will let everyone know.

Well, we've settled on Oct. 19-21. I've emailed a couple of people and most can make it on that date...so we'll just stick to that.
Hmmm, just trying to figure out the best way to give everyone directions...I really don't want to post my addy on the web, any suggestions???
And yes, greeneyes...bring your sons, I'm sure there will be some women their ages here, also.
Great Alley!! The more the merrier!!
Don't forget, everyone bring what they want to eat & drink...I can't afford to feed everyone...I wish, but I can't...so let's just treat it like a weekend vacation for everyone and BYOE (bring your own everything). I'll provide the place & the entertainment.

E-mail it to the people that are deff coming about a week before the actual date, that way you don't waste time sending it to a bunch of people that aren't going to be there.
Or, you can have a meeting spot, like a gas station or stor close to your house, and have everyone meet there, then follow you to your house.

Am REALLY JEALOUS!! Live in California and have been to Western NC as that's where my Daddy's family is from and love it there. My ancestor originally settled in the Johnson City area a couple of hundred years ago. Would love to see it some time. Anyway, the get-together sounds great! Have a fabulous time!
