touchy situation with my younguns, they are special needs, daughter is blind and son is autistic, kinda protective about them in a new enviroment, tryin now to slowly get them adapted, but when ya'll have one on a free weekend, I'll be there, my younguns take first priority with me though, thanks for the invite though

Crafty.... I think it would be a wonderful new environement for the kids.... they could pet the horses and goats and all those little doggies that Kat has running around there..Maybe you can just make it a day trip.... I'd be more than happy to help with the kids!
Kat! it sounds great! That's the weekend before Thanksgiving... I am pretty sure I can make it.... I'll talk to Val and see if she'd be interested too!

Oh it isn't just that. I take care of 11 acres here since my dad died. I am the caregiver for my mom, and I have a daughter, along with a slew of animals including an attack duck that has to be put up when strangers come around..  I also have 30 acres in Monroe that we rent out for grazing, but needs upkeep. I am the only one here so getting ready for winter is not fun. I also have 2 more rooms to finish. THE DRYWALL IS ALL UP  but I have to paint and put down the hardwood floors. I finished my bedroom this week-end. I'm going to try and paint the outside of the house before it gets too cold.
You will all get to know me well soon enough..LMAO
This coming year should be alot easier...I hope 
I forgot about building the new bunny barn. The last storm blew it down. Anyone got a shed they aren't using?? LMAO

wow,you sound like me! I've got these 55 acres of mine that I keep up by myself. Well...my 10 year old grandson helps. But taking care of 17 horses, 4 goats, 11 chickens & 4 dogs...does keep me busy...and I surely can understand where you're coming from! Isn't country life grand, tho?? I wouldn't trade it for anything! But...that's why I'm having it here...lol, I still have to feed when everyone's here...but heck...most of them helped me last time!
Ya aughta have one there, sometime!
