Mar 15, 2007 @ 9:32 PM Galveston Music Fest Cook Off Event Easter weekend     SpiritEnergy Posts: 16,903 It is called a Bunny Roast but only because it is an Easter weekend event. Sunday is an Easter Egg hunt for the kids. That is the Bunny part. It is a Music Fest and Cook-Off Benefiting the Animal Alliance of Galveston County. Sort of a Biker Event but nonbikers are welcome. BBQ, bands, trophies or cash prizes for brisket, easter egg hunt on Sunday, crafts and food booths, camping and RV's welcome. 12410 Stewart Road on Galveston Island. Starts at Noon Saturday and Sunday and goes til about 8 pm. Booths are available for vendors. I do not know if that is allowed to post here. Hope so. It will be fun! One of the country clubs is having a party for children with a human size Easter bunny.
